What we collect
We collect only what we need to reply to you and to do business with you:
- Details you send us through our forms, email or WhatsApp: your name, company, job title, email, phone number, country or city, and what you tell us about your products or needs.
- Files you upload, or send us by email or WhatsApp, such as specifications, tech packs, company profiles or certificates.
- Business records when we work together: quotations, orders, invoices, shipping and inspection documents.
- Website data: basic technical information such as your browser, device and pages visited, and cookies as described below.
How we use it
- To reply to your quote request, inquiry or registration.
- To prepare quotations, manage orders, samples, production, inspection and shipping.
- To consider a registered factory for buyer programs.
- To send you the Buyer’s Guide and related emails, only if you asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep our website secure and working, and to understand how it is used.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Legal bases
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: your consent (for example, the consent box on our forms and guide emails); steps you ask us to take before a contract, and the contract itself; our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, where it is not overridden by your rights; and our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- Factories and buyers: when we work on your program, we share the details needed for that program, for example your specification with a factory, or a factory’s profile with a buyer. We share no more than the program needs.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email delivery and inspection, shipping and logistics partners, under confidentiality.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
International transfers
We are based in Pakistan and work with buyers and suppliers in many countries, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in Pakistan. Where the law requires it, we take reasonable steps to protect it, such as confidentiality commitments from the people and companies we share it with.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not lead to business: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Factory registrations: until you ask us to remove them, or 3 years after our last contact.
- Order and business records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Guide email list: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and, only with your consent, cookies that help us understand how visitors use it. When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you accept or reject the optional cookies, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link on the site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or move it to another company, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@BizShip.com and we reply within one month. If you are in the UK or the EU and are not satisfied, you can complain to your data protection authority, for example the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as secure website connections, limited access and confidentiality. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive personal information we have not asked for.
